Josh Radford from Vision Australia will be conducting a training session for conference volunteers and venue staff on Monday, 19 May at 1.00pm. This session will be held at the Stamford Plaza Melbourne Hotel and will take approximately 2 hours.

They will be conducting an overview of Human guide and orientation techniques such as:
- How to orientate a person to a room/surrounding, including such things as air conditioning, step to the shower, toilet and mini bar;
- Rules and courtesy around a Dog guide;
- How to indicate a chair, food on a plate and where their glass is etc.

This will be followed by a practical blind fold component.

All volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend this training session.

When registering as a conference volunteer you give permission for Round Table on Information Access for People with Print Disabilities to use your name and photographs taken at the conference on the Round Table website and in any Round Table publication.
